Plan to meet at entrance, however if full go into parking on the right just as you crossover the bridge. Plan to hike 5 miles. Bring treat to share at lunch time. Bad weather will postpone to Sun. Sat. 5 Feb. - Mattatuck Trail- Meet 9:30 entrance to Black Rock S.P. Inclement weather we will hike on Sun. Feb. 6 same time and place. Mon. 14 Feb. Valentines's Day - Let's get our hearts pumping. Inviting all Sexagenarians, Septuagenarians and Octogenarians show your colors by wearing something RED. Plans are to meet 10:00 West Beach parking and walk to Megis Point. If you would like to join us but want to do a shorter walk please let me know where you will meet the group. Tues. 22 Feb.Meet 9:30 McLean Refuge - Plan to hike 5-6 miles or snowshoe. If we snowshoe we will use the dirt road into Spring Pond have lunch and return same way. This is a special number day. It is the second month of the year, second day of the work week, 22 day of the month and the year is 2022. This will never happen again in our life time. Come out and enjoy the day!!! L. Carol A.
