Sun. 11 Oct. - Day Hike - Northern section of the Tunxis Trail, Hartland.  We'll start where the trail crosses Rte. 20 at 10:00 a.m., hike to the northern terminus, and return.  We will briefly be in Massachusetts.  Lots of moderate ups and downs with one steep but short section. Meet at parking lot to northeast of Reservoir Number 6 off Route 44 in W Hartford near water pumping station at 9:30 am. Hike 5-6 miles. Easy/moderate terrain. Dogs on leashes welcome.
