 Sat: July 30 - Trail Magic in the Green Mountains 2016.  A GMC-sponsored event for Long Trail/​Appalachian Trail hikers at road crossings in Vermont. Trail Magic Day is a great opportunity to represent the work of the Club, recruit members and volunteers, teach hikers about responsible trail use and Leave No Trace principles, and bring all of GMC’s sections together for a day of fun outside. Representatives from each of GMC’s 14 sections station themselves at LT trailheads and road crossings to provide information,​ company, or edible encouragement to thru- and day-hikers as they make their way along the trail. ​ We will set up on the Arlington-Stratton Road at Kelley Stand. May combine with Friday night trail magic at Story Spring Shelter.
