Sun. 9 July -Sessions Woods-Burlington, CT. Children's Hike Meet Main parking 9:30. Plan to hike 3 miles on gravel/dirt road visiting the Beaver Pond, Fire Tower, and Waterfall. L. Carol A. Langley 860-877-4449 call or text.
Fri.-Sun. 14-16 July 2023 - Backpack in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Day One: Crawford Notch to Ethan Pond, going over Tom, Field, and Willey in the Willey Range. Day Two: Ethan Pond Trail - Zeacliff Trail - Twinway Trail - Bondcliff Trail to Guyot Campsite, with a side trip to Zealand Mtn. Day Three: Over the Bonds, and out via Bondcliff Trail - Wilderness Trail - Lincoln Woods Trail to Lincoln Woods. Wed. Aug 2-Fri. Aug 4 - Hike to Owl's Head in NH. Plans to drive up Wed, hike on Thursday and home on Friday. Plans to camp at Country Bumpkin in Lincoln, NH. Level: Difficult. Leaders: Jim Fritz - the jimfritz@gmail.com and Mandy Brink at trekeragb56@gmail.com.
Sat. 5 Aug. - Trail Magic - We will be providing trail magic where the Long Trail / Appalachian Trail crosses Kelly Stand Road (a little south of Stratton Mtn.). We'll set up some tables and hand out fruit, snacks, zip-loc bags, and whatever else we think thru-hikers would like. This usually lasts from mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
