Sat: Oct 25 - Annual Heublein Tower Halloween Hike, West Hartford/Bloomfield. Wear orange if you have it. Fall-themed snacks are always a hit. Meet at parking lot to the northeast of Reservoir Number 6 off Route 44 in W Hartford near water pumping station at 9:30 am. Hike 5-6 miles. Easy/moderate terrain. Dogs on leashes welcome. Looking Ahead: Wed. 28 Jan.-Fri. 30 Jan. 2026 - GMC Bolton Lodge in Bolton Valley Vermont. Two nights, enclosed rustic cabin with wood stove, bunks for 8-10 people. Hike/ski/snowshoe on Bolton Valley Nordic trails. Cabin cost $131 total, divided evenly between the number of participants. Must also purchase a BV Nordic & Backcountry pass, typically about $25.
