Wed. April 5 - Come for a scavanger hike at Hell Hollow in Pachaug SF. Learn about why Hell Hollow is considered a haunted abandoned town while looking for clues from stories of the past, specifically looking for the Great Rock and Mauds Grave while learning of the history of the area. Tues. 11 Apr. Wildlife Biologist Peter Picone will be doing a program for the children of CT. GMC members at 2:30. We will meet in the main parking lot at 2:15. Take a break then hike the Southern section of the Smokey Mountains Newfound Gap US 441 to Fontana Dam which is 41 miles. Plan on a two day drive down and back. Contact leader for details: Carol A.
