Sun. April 7 - Tues. April 9 GMC Jean Haigh Cabin on Wheeler Pond near Barton Vermont. Two nights, enclosed cabin with wood stove, bunks for 8-10 people. Hike or snowshoe on area trails, depending on snow conditions. Coincides with a total solar eclipse in northern Vermont on the afternoon of Monday April 8. Fri. May 24 - Sun. May 26 - Trail Maintenance - Work trip to maintain our section of the Long Trail and associated shelters. Specific projects will vary, but may include clipping brush, clearing waterbars, cutting up blowdowns, and light carpentry.
