Mon. 14 Feb. Valentines's Day - Let's get our hearts pumping. Inviting all Sexagenarians, Septuagenarians and Octogenarians show your colors by wearing something RED. Plans are to meet 10:00 West Beach parking and walk to Megis Point. If you would like to join us but want to do a shorter walk please let me know where you will meet the group. Wed. 9 Mar. Since the trails have been so icy I am going to do some walks on the Rails/Trails. Meet 9:30 Rails/Trails parking on Lazy Lane in Southington. Take I-84 west exit 32 follow Rte. 10 till you see Lazy Lane about 1 mile. Take right, just past the Police Station is parking. Plan to walk to Plantsville and back. approx. 5 miles.
