This is an out and back hike starting at the recreation area and climbing to the ridge to intersect the Metacomet Trail, then hike north for 2 miles or so and return. 5-6 miles. Moderate terrain. Meet 9.30 at East Granby Recreation Area at 79 North Main Street (CT-Rte 187), East Granby. The meeting place is 0.9 miles north of the intersection of CT-Rte 20.
